Crochet Club

Crochet Club is for students who have mastered chaining and single crochet stitches and are ready to explore more stitches and projects. We meet once a month. Bring your own project and supplies, and Celia will be available to help as needed.

Meeting details

  • Frequency: Once a month on a Wednesday after school 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Dates: September 30th, 2026, October 28th, 2026, November 25, 2026, December 2, 2026.

  • Fee: $40

  • Format: Drop-in between 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Bring your project and work with guidance from Celia.

  • Space is friendly and welcoming; come ready to learn and have fun!

What to expect

  • Learn new stitches beyond single crochet (examples: half double, double crochet, slip stitch techniques, and basic increases/decreases).

  • Work on individual projects at your own pace—scarves, beanies, granny squares, small toys, and more.

  • One-on-one help from Celia for pattern reading, tension, color choices, finishing, and troubleshooting.

  • A relaxed, supportive group environment to share ideas and celebrate progress.

Who can join

  • Students who are comfortable with chaining and single crochet.

  • Ages: Kids and Teens

What to bring

  • Your current crochet project and pattern (if any).

  • Crochet hooks in sizes called for by your project.

  • Yarn for your project and a small scissors, yarn needle, and stitch markers.

  • Optional: a notebook and pen for notes.
