Celia’s Craft Room is located in southwest Boise, Idaho.

All students are required to attend the Beginning Sewing Machine class or pass Celia’s skill test before taking any sewing camps.

Projects will help students to continue to build skills. Friday is open sew to complete projects. If students have extra time a bonus sewing project will be provided.

Times: 9:30 am – 11:30 am

June 10 – 12 Beginning Sewing Machine Camp – See projects and suggested supplies here: Beginning Sewing Part 1 .
June 17 – 21 Quilting – Introduction to quilting. Students will use their completed mini quilt to create a zipper pouch.
June 24 – 28 Sewing Fun – Garden Themed projects.  Students will complete a variety of machine sewing and hand sewing projects.

Ages: 8 – 16  The majority of students are ages 8 – 10. If your pre-teen or teen would prefer to bring friends their age, a private afternoon class can be arrange for any of the camps.

Class Size: Limit 4 students per session.

Supplies: Sewing Camps include teacher instruction, use of a classroom sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, patterns, thread, and fabric. Optional: If your student would like to bring their own fabric email for yardage. Kids are welcome to bring their own machine if it is in working order, and they are able to opperate it without assistance.

Additional Supplies: Water bottle and a healthy snack.

Class times were created with the idea that learning to sew should be enjoyable and not rushed. You might not finish your projects in the allotted time and that’s okay. If you don’t finish arrange a private sewing session to complete your project.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy:

Your class payment reserves your spot.

No refunds are offered for classes or camps. Cancellations received two weeks before class will be able to transfer their fees to another camp or class. Cancellations received less than two weeks before class starts, or no-shows, may forfeit their class fees entirely.

If you miss a class you may be able to make up the class or come to an Open Sew day, subject to available space.

If Celia’s Craft Room needs to cancel a class we will issue a refund in the manner in which you paid or you can transfer your payment to a future session of your choice.

Classes are subject to change or cancellation based on low attendance.
